On May 8th at 4:00 PM, an exhibition opening will take place at Neckarhausen Schloss. My work will be featured alongside two other local artists: Erdmann Zippel and Kristina Yaroslavskaya.

My primary medium is silk batik, an ancient fabric painting technique originating from Indonesia.

You will be able to see over 45 of my pieces at the exhibition, half of which are batik. It is a unique and quite complex technique: the artist essentially paints with molten wax to preserve the existing colors on the fabric. Every step must be planned in advance, carefully alternating layers of dye with layers of wax.
